Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Department of Agricultural Engineering

Vision: To establish an innovative, sustainable, technologically equipped, climate-resilient, and advanced agriculture at the national level, so that through the effective utilization of natural resources, farmers’ income increases and the country’s food security and safety are strengthened.

Mission: To design and implement standard policies, so that with the help of modern technology and professional academic staff, opportunities for high-quality teaching, research, and scientific activities are provided to students. Furthermore, by increasing agricultural production, safeguarding resources, and enhancing farmers’ capacities, it contributes to the development and prosperity of society.

Objectives: Training specialists at a high level in the field of agriculture, effective utilization of resources and reduction of waste, benefiting from advanced agricultural tools, techniques, and technologies, promoting mechanized farming, and producing agricultural products with high quantity and quality.

The Strategic Planning Committee of the Faculty of Plant Sciences was registered and approved in Protocol No. (3) on 1404/08/02 during the meeting.

The Academic Council of the Faculty of Plant Sciences was registered and approved in Protocol No. (8) on 1404/08/24 during the meeting.
